Friday, May 15th Line Time: Safety with Masks

Hello, boys and girls, today we are going to talk about all things masks! With all that is going on in our world today you will be seeing masks more than usual!

Why do people wear masks?

Masks are put on the face to protect it! It could be protecting you from germs, fires, or even to help you breathe. There's nothing scary about these masks; it's all about taking care of your body! Remember we are a living thing, and we need to make sure we are protecting our organs, especially our lungs!

Here are some awesome people who wear masks for their jobs!

Doctors and Nurses

Dentists and Dental Hygienists

Firefighters

Construction Workers

Scientists

All of these people wear masks to protect themselves and keep us safe as well! When we wear these masks we are still the same person and as happy as ever because we are making the world safer!
