Parts of a Fish & Sharks

Fish have gills that help them to breathe in the water, and they are covered in scales. These scales will usually get a layer of slime on them which helps the fish quickly glide through the water. Fins help the fish swim and gives them balance.

  • Sharks can loose and grow thousands of teeth in their lifetime

  • Sharks skin feels like sandpaper

  • Sharks have been around for 455 million years
