“Audiences are not important for me now and they never were.” She is an artist that never cared what others thought about her, she just loved to play her music. It’s all that mattered to her.
Martha was born June 5th, 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Argentina is in South America! She started playing the piano at the age of three! During this time, an older boy challenged her to play a song without any music. She completely surprised the audience! When she was five years old, she moved to her teacher’s house Vincenzo Scaramuzza to receive more intense instruction.

Martha always said that she felt lonely when she performed on stage. So she mostly played concertos and chamber music (this means she played her music onstage with other people.)
Martha received many different awards including three Grammy Awards, she also received an award in Japan called the Praemium Imperiale Prize for music. She also received an award from the Japanese Government called the Order of the Rising Sun.
